This decal was too worn to ascertain the location of this shop. The 312 area code encompassed the entire greater Chicago area until 1989, and there are currently two Village Pedaler shops outside of Chicago, but neither match the phone number or address fragment on the decal. If anyone knows what city/town this shop was in around the time of this decal, please let me know. -Chris

There used to be multiple Village Pedaler stores. The only remaining Village Pedaler is in South Elgin. This logo matches their logo from the past.
ReplyDeleteThe phone number prefix when changed to the (847) area code matches listings in the West Dundee area which is between the Elgin and old Crystal lake locations. I would think that they have changed locations as the Elgin store is in a very new building. '547 s Route' might be hwy 72? and I would assume "W Dun' is West Dundee, which is now a township of Carpentersville.
