Bluebird Cycle Shop; Petone, New Zealand

This one came in from from a reader, and I'll let him tell the story:
"Bluebird Cycles was an institution for several decades in New Zealand as it was the only place one could buy a high quality European road bike. The original owner was none other than Ron Ulmer who represented New Zealand on the track and who was the grandfather of Olympic medallist Sarah Ulmer.

I first came across the beautiful shop sticker while working for a bike shop nearby shortly after moving to NZ from the US seven years ago. The stickers really made an impression.

Fast forward five years, and I find myself leasing the former premises of Bluebird Cycles, something that was purely coincidental, and rather serendipitous.

One of the later owners, Ron Lyster, who after selling the shop  went on to act as the Mavic wholesaler for many years, brought in an old photo album with some samples of the sticker as well as stationery the week that I opened."
Great story Mike, thanks for sharing.
